These Fish Finger Tacos are a fun and flavourful twist on a classic favorite. Crispy fish fingers are tucked into soft tortillas and topped with fresh, vibrant ingredients, creating a perfect balance of textures and tastes.

Remember, there’s an ENTIRE CHAPTER of emergency recipes just like this one in my new book Craveable!

Ingredients

  • 8 -10 fish fingers
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 4 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • Small handful coriander
  • Small wedge of white cabbage
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 6-8 corn tortillas
  • Use your favorite hot sauce – I personally love the green El Yucateco.

Step 1

Place the fish fingers on a baking tray, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with your chosen seasoning and salt. Bake according to the package instructions, typically around 15 minutes at 180°C.

Step 2

While the fish fingers are baking, prepare the salsa. Chop the tomato, onion, and coriander, and use a peeler to quickly shred the cabbage. Combine them in a bowl with the juice of a lime and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix everything together with your hands.

Step 3

Combine the mixture with mayo and sriracha, stirring well to coat.

Step 4

Warm the tortillas in the microwave.

Step 5

Assemble your tacos with fish fingers, salsa, mayo, and a generous amount of hot sauce.
