The Salmon Poke Bagel is a fresh and flavourful twist on your favorite bagel sandwich. Packed with marinated salmon, crisp veggies, and a hint of creamy indulgence, it’s the perfect blend of savoury and satisfying.
Ingredients
100g cream cheese
½ bunch spring onions
A big pinch flakey sea salt
120g smoked salmon
3 tbsp kewpie mayo
1 tbsp gochujang
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds
Cucumber
Avocado
Edamame
Chives
Bagels
Step 1
Slice your bagels in half and toast them until golden and crisp. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each half.
Step 2
Finely chop the spring onions and sprinkle them over the cream cheese along with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the smoked salmon with kewpie mayo, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Toss until the salmon is evenly coated and flavorful.
Step 4
Layer thinly sliced cucumber and avocado on top of the cream cheese. Add the salmon poke mixture over the veggies.
Step 5
Sprinkle with furikake, or substitute with chili flakes or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
Step 6
Garnish with edamame and finely chopped chives for added color and freshness.
