Give your classic Caesar salad a fiery makeover with this bold and flavourful twist! Featuring a zesty homemade dressing, crispy croutons, and a hint of chili heat, this salad is perfect for spicing up your lunch or dinner table.
Dressing
3 tbsp mayo
2 tsp crispy chilli oil (personal preference)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic
3 anchovies

Romane lettuce
Step 1
Use the back of a fork to mash the anchovies into a paste.
Step 2
Rinse the romaine lettuce thoroughly, pat dry, and tear it into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss the torn bread pieces with olive oil, spread them on a baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the mashed anchovies, chili oil, lemon juice, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk until smooth.
Step 5
Place the torn lettuce and chopped chicken in a large salad bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the top and toss to coat.
Step 6
Add the croutons and grated Parmesan to the salad, mixing gently to combine. Serve immediately for a spicy twist on the classic Caesar!
